DIRECTIONS

The Hotel du Pont is conveniently located in downtown Wilmington, Delaware, in the heart of the Brandywine Valley. Two hours from New York and Washington, D.C., and one hour from Baltimore. 

The hotel is just 5 blocks off I-95, minutes from the train station, and 25 minutes from the Philadelphia International Airport.



From Philadelphia on I-95 South 
Take I-95 South through Chester to Wilmington. 
Follow I-95 South to Exit 7A marked "52 South, Delaware Avenue." 
Follow 11th Street in the middle lane through six traffic lights. Hotel du Pont is on the right. Valet parking is available at Hotel entrance. For self-parking, turn left on Orange Street; Car Park is on left. 

From Route 202
Follow Route 202 to I-95 intersection. Take I-95 South. 
From I-95 South, follow steps 2 and 3 above. 

From Baltimore on I-95 North 
Follow I-95 North to Wilmington, take Exit 7 marked "Route 52, Delaware Avenue." 
From right lane, take Exit 7 onto Adams Street. 
At the third traffic light, turn right onto 11th Street. 
Follow 11th Street in the middle lane through six traffic lights. Hotel du Pont is on the right. Valet parking is available at Hotel entrance. For self-parking, turn left on Orange Street; Car Park is on left. 

From New Jersey (New Jersey Turnpike) 
Take the New Jersey Turnpike South to Delaware Memorial Bridge. 
After crossing the Delaware Memorial Bridge, follow signs to I-95 North. 
From I-95 North, follow steps 1-4 above. 

From Downstate Delaware 
Take Route 13 North, into Wilmington. 
Follow signs marked "North Business, Route 13" to the eighth traffic light. 
At the eighth light, make a left onto 10th Street. 
Follow 10th Street three blocks to Orange Street, and make a right onto Orange Street. 
Next block is 11th Street. Turn right; Hotel du Pont is on the right. Valet parking is available at Hotel entrance. For self-parking, continue on Orange Street; Car Park is on left. 


DIRECTIONS TO/FROM AIRPORTS, TRAIN STATIONS 

To the New Castle Airport from the Hotel du Pont 
Follow 11th Street to the second light, and make a right onto King Street. 
Follow King Street, in the middle lane, to Route 13 South, and continue for 9 miles. The Airport is located on the right after the intersection with Route 141. Drive time: 15 minutes 

FROM THE NEW CASTLE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL DU PONT 
Turn left onto Route 13 North, toward Wilmington. 
Follow Route 13 North into Wilmington, which turns into Walnut Street. 
Follow Walnut Street to 10th Street, and turn left. 
Follow 10th Street to Orange Street, and turn right. 
Turn right onto 11th Street; Hotel du Pont is on the right. 

To the Philadelphia International Airport from the Hotel du Pont 
Make a left onto Market Street. 
Make a left onto 12th Street. 
From the right lanes, take I-95 North 20 miles to the Airport. 
Take Exit 10 for the Airport. Drive time: 30 minutes 

From the Philadelphia International Airport from the Hotel du Pont 
Take I-95 South into Delaware (approximately 15 miles). 
Follow I-95 South to Exit 7A marked "52 South, Delaware Avenue." This is 11th Street. The Hotel du Pont is 7 blocks ahead, on the right. 

To the Wilmington Train Station from the Hotel du Pont 
Follow 11th Street to the second light. 
Make a right onto King Street. 
Follow King Street, in the left lane, underneath the railroad overpass. 
Make a left. The Train Station is one block ahead. Drive time: 7 minutes
Note: Budget Rental Car and Hertz Rental Car are both located at the Train Station. 

From the Wilmington Train Station from the Hotel du Pont 
From underneath the railroad tracks on French Street, cross over the Martin Luther King Boulevard to the second light. 
Make a left onto 2nd Street, and follow to Orange Street. 
Make a right onto Orange Street. 
Follow Orange Street to 11th Street, and make a right. The Hotel du Pont is on the right at 11th and Market. 

To the Wilmington Train Station from I-95 North or South 
Take I-95 to Wilmington, Exit 6. 
Follow signs to the Train Station.
